If you converted an IRA or 401k to Roth you can recharacterize the account. Roth Recharacterization is a process of reversing a conversion to Roth. A Roth IRA or Roth 401k is a special retirement tool that allows the growth from your investments to be used without paying taxes.

Roth Recharacterization
The key point here is that you can perform Roth Recharacterization anytime after you convert to Roth but before October 15 of the year following your conversion. You can even cherry pick assets.
